where is the LOVE?
Cinta - Melly
Goeslaw feat. Krisdayanti
menapak jalan yg menjauh
tentukan arah yg ku
mau
tempatan aku pada satu peristiwa
yg membuat hati lara…
di dekat engkau aku tenang
sendu matamu penuh
tanya
misteri hidup akankah menghilang
dan bahagia di akhir
cerita…
cinta,
tegarkan hatiku
tak mau sesuatu merenggut engkau
naluriku berkata, tak
ingin terulang lagi
kehilangan cinta, hati bagai raga tak
bernyawa
aku junjung petuahmu
cintai dia yg
mencintaiku
hatinya dulu berlayar, kini telah menepi
bukankah hidup kita
akhirnya harus bahagia
di dekat engkau aku tenang
sendu matamu penuh
tanya
misteri hidup akankah menghilang
dan bahagia di akhir
cerita
cinta biar
saja ada
yg terjadi biar saja terjadi
bagaimana pun hidup hanya
cerita
cerita tentang yg meninggalkan
dan yg
ditinggalkan
cinta……..

I’ve been thinking lately about how much people
talk about "Love", without really ever understanding what that means…
What does "Love" mean to you…? Is it the way your boyfriend pays
attention to you and buys you pretty things, or perhaps the way your mother used
to comfort you when you were hurt or sick…? These days it seems people are
concerned more with the outward displays of "Love", and never consider or
even value anything beyond that… Worse yet, some have no concept of
Love at all, save what benefits *they* might receive through
it…
The Bible quotes Love as being :
"Love suffereth long, and is kind; Love dost envy not; Love
vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, dost not behave unseemly, seeketh not her
own, is not easily provoked, and thinks no evil; Love rejoices not in
iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; Love beareth all things , dost
believe all things, hope all things, endure all things. Love never
fails."
The one thing everyone is afraid of in Love,
is the fear of being alone or abandoned (which is often why Lovers fail to
communicate and share honesty as they should - again I speak from painful
experience =P), but within the embrace of such a Love, though Lovers
might be parted, Love never is… Within such a Love, one never
has to be alone…
So, think about it… what is
"Love"…?
Do you have it…? Do you want it…?
Are you willing to sacrifice for it…?
What is Love, and what is it’s worth…?
And the last question is : Is the Love you
have, true Love…?
ps: True & Purest Love only comes from Jesus
